The A.E.T. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology is a two year program that trains the student to work as a technician in the manufacturing environment. Topics covered in the curriculum include basic machining processes, engineering graphics, computer aided design (CAD), tool and die design, quality control, motion and time study, as well as a number of elective areas such as CNC machines and robotics. Transfer upon graduation to Rochester Institute of Technology's Computer Integrated Manufacturing Engineering Technology Program can be accomplished without loss of credits.
Edinboro University of Pennsylvania is excited to announce a new opportunity for students interested in manufacturing engineering. A group of 24 students will be enrolled this fall at a dramatically reduced price. This opportunity is the result of a Technical College Grant from the Pennsylvania Dept. of Education. Under this special program accepted students will be given the opportunity to earn an Associate's degree for a cost of only $6,000, less than one-half of the regular cost of tuition and fees. The student will be responsible for the cost of books, materials, and transportation.
