Welcome to the Edinboro University Foundation

Dear Friends,

The Edinboro University Foundation is a 501(C)(3) non-profit foundation created on August 5, 1998.  Like most colleges and universities throughout the United States, the University recognized the need to create a separate legal unit for the purpose of receiving and managing private gifts, and in turn, investing those gifts for the University.

The Foundation and University have created a relationship that is helping meet critical needs in the interest of its priorities, including enhancing enrollment and retention; enhancing technology campus-wide, and enhancing diversity.  The Foundation proudly supports the University in Building Partnerships for Excellence and Civility.

We hope you will help to model civic and philanthropic behaviors by making a contribution that will benefit our students.  As direct beneficiaries of your philanthropy, our students will learn first-hand of the importance and value of philanthropy in our society.

There are many gift opportunities, including endowed scholarships, facility naming opportunities, as well as unrestricted donations to support programs that may otherwise not exist.  Please know that we are appreciative and fortunate to have community leaders, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the University who understand the importance of supporting public education.
