Presidential Inauguration
November 29-30, 2007
On November 29, a delegation from Jinan University met with the President to present him with a gift from the President of Jinan University. The delegation consisted from two representatives: Professor Dang Mingde, Vice President, and Professor Zhang Yong, Dean of School of Control Science and Engineering.
The inaugural investiture procession on Friday, November 30, featured many people, from active students, to alumni and representatives from other institutions of higher education. 25 current international students carried the flags of their native lands, and two domestic students who carried flages representing Scotland, in honor of Edinboro's founders, and Great Britain, in honor of President Brown.
