Educational Costs
All educational costs are to be paid prior to the start of the academic semester. Payment must be in an acceptable form of U.S. currency (cash; check drawn on a U.S. financial institution; Traveler's checks).
United States Immigration Regulations specify that a student must have sufficient funds to pay educational expenses for at least the first year of study in the United States. Upon acceptance to the University, you will be eligible to receive the International Tuition Waiver for undergraduate students. This award will continue throughout your undergraduate career at Edinboro as long as you maintain satisfactory academic standing. Edinboro University offers awards to international students in an effort to enhance diversity and encourage academic and personal excellence.
Another form of financial support available for international students is employment on Edinboro university campus. Although most employment is not considered financial aid, it is sometimes an important part of a student's financial situation. F-1 visa students are eligible to work on-campus for up to 20 hours per week when school is in session and up to 37.5 hours per week during school vacations. However, on-campus employment cannot be assured in advance and is not considered part of a student's official financial support.
International students may wish to browse the Internet for additional sources of financial aid.
Please note that registration for the summer sessions for international students is optional. If you wish to enroll in summer classes, please contact the International Student Services Office for the associated costs.
- Costs are based on a minimum of 12 credit hours and a maximum of 18 credit hours. Waiver does not apply to credits over 18.
- Costs are based on two students per room for $2,100.00 (USD) and 14 meals per week for $1,125.00 (USD). There are additional meal plan selections.
- Living expenses include books, health insurance, ID card, and personal expenses required to be included by USCIS Rules and Regulations.
- Miscellaneous expenses represent a reasonable estimate of all expenses related to your education for one academic year.
