The Multicultural Programs Office acts as a supporting agent for students, faculty, and staff by:

  • Providing a variety of resources that enhance college life and celebrates individual differences,
  • Providing leadership opportunities that foster personal and professional development,
  • Coordinating multicultural initiatives where everyone is welcomed and supported and by,
  • Coordinating activities and programs that encourage acceptance and appreciation of cultural differences.

The office seeks to understand, confront, and eliminate barriers to an equitable and diverse environment while serving as a catalyst in assisting the Edinboro Family in creating a climate that promotes civility, respect, and sensitivity. The goal is that all students, staff, and faculty obtain an understanding of different cultures, languages, and peoples as they become aware of the uniqueness of these cultures.
