Student Recreation/Athletic Center
The Adapted Intramural and Recreational Sports (AIRS) fitness center is located in the Crawford Gym facility, is available for students with disabilities and is supervised daily. A schedule of hours is available from the Campus Recreation Office. The equipment includes the following: barbell weights, hand and leg weights, table tennis equipment, air rifles and shooting traps, archery equipment, road racing chairs, and indoor trainers and track and field equipment. Recreational opportunities outside of the Center include 3-on-3 intramural wheelchair basketball, 5-on-5 wheelchair football, swimming, adapted snow skiing, and bowling. Separate from this program are our two athletic teams, The Fighting Scots Wheelchair Basketball Team and the Fighting Scots Wheelchair Powerlifing Team. The two athletic programs participate in weekly practices and a very competitive schedule.
