Van transportation for OSD students is available at a fixed rate per student per semester, $2,900.00 per semester $18.00 - $27.00 per hour and $.44 per mile
This service includes transportation to all classes, all on-campus and in-town appointments or activities within Washington Township and the borough of Edinboro. Transportation for off-campus field experiences (internships, student teaching) which are requirements for graduation are subject to time and mileage charges at the time of use.
Transportation timetables to and from classes will be developed based upon the student's class schedules. Availability of vans is subject to the following priorities: (1) classes, (2) appointments, (3) other activities not conflicting with (1) and (2). Van transportation for purposes other than those previously addressed is subject to prescribed University policy, and payment for such usage is the responsibility of the student(s) using the vehicle. Vehicles will be suited to the needs of the person with a disability, including safety equipment, ramps/lifts, specialized seats, etc.
