The R.A.D. Program offered by Edinboro University of Pa is a nationally accredited program, which is offered at No Cost at any/all women who wish to increase their own personal safety and overall awareness regarding their everyday lives whether home or abroad.
The R.A.D. Program is a twelve (12) hour program, which is usually broken up into four (4) sessions of three (3) hours each. This format may be altered if necessary.
Participants will learn "To develop and enhance the options of self defense, so they may become viable considerations for the woman who is attacked."
During the R.A.D. Program, women will learn verbal and physical options, which they will need to enact against aggressors during four (4) different physical simulations, while participating in the final session of the program.
Once completed with the R.A.D. Program, any woman who is certified may return FREE OF CHARGE to any R.A.D. Program within the nation. Programs are beginning to become available internationally. These international locations will also be available to any certified woman FREE OF CHARGE.
