MISSION STATEMENT

The primary mission of the School of Science, Management and Technology is to develop within its students knowledge, fluency, inquiry, an appreciation of ethical, aesthetic, and cultural values, an understanding of basic scientific principles, and an awareness of perspectives leading to good, contributive citizenship.

As a member of the Academic Affairs division of Edinboro University, the School of Science, Management and Technology provides degree programming through eight departments:  Biology and Health Services, Business and Economics, Chemistry, Geosciences, Mathematics and Computer Science, Nursing, Organizational Studies and Physics.  As a member institution of the State System of Higher Education, Edinboro University commits itself to the mission of the State System of Higher Education.
