Office Mission

 

In support of the University's mission of creating and sharing knowledge, the Office of Social Equity has University-wide responsibility for programs and services designed to enhance faculty, staff, and student diversity,  The Office provides collaborative leadership in the areas of campus diversity that include, but may not be limited to

• monitoring, evaluating and supporting diversity efforts, and in some cases, directing initiatives;
• raising awareness and increasing communication on campus of the University's commitment to diversity; and
• supporting core programs and services.

Edinboro Univeristy of Pennsylvania is building a diverse academic community.  All students are required to take cultural diversity course, and the University is pursuing several initiatives to diversify its student, faculty, staff and administrator population.
