Full
- Classroom has a projector mounted on the ceiling and wall mounted speakers with a instructor's desk housing a control unit, and other A / V equipment. Input souces include a PC, Laptop video and audio connection and a DVD/VHS Player. Optional Equipment that may be in the classroom: Sympodium, Document Camera.
D.E.
- Distance Education Classroom. A classroom that is setup for Video Conference style classes.
Rear Sm Brd
- A classroom that has a Rear Projected Smart Board (model: 2000i or similar) allowing for interaction with projected content through the large touch screen that the image is presented on. A instructor PC and DVD/VCR player are the standard video sources. Some rooms include a Document camera.
Front Sm Brd
- A classroom that has a Front Projected Smart Board allowing for interaction with the projected content on the touch white board that the image is presented on. Unlike the Rear Projected Smart Board with these models the projector is in front of the white board and shadow of the presenter may interfere with seeing all of the image at once.
Tech Rdy
- A Tech Ready set-up: A ceiling mounted projector with wall mounted Speakers connected to a face plate on the wall near the front of the room with a control unit mounted near by. This allows the presenter to bring in any A / V source and plug into the faceplate and project it through the mounted projector and sound over the speakers in the room. Most of these rooms have a pre-existing PC.
Floater
- A presentation system that is contained within a mobile cart that may be moved from room to room to make the best use of equipment within the cart.
Smt Cart
- Smart Expressions Cart: A self-contained presentation system that houses PC, Document Camera, Sympodium, DVD/VHS player and the Projector. The projector is control via a remoted control that is wired to the projector and switching between the PC and Document Camera in done with the control located on the top of the cart, next to the volume control. These carts are mobile, but some of them have had the projector mounted onto the mobile.
