Voicemail:
To access voicemail: 732-3000 or just dial 3000 from campus phones.
For help anytime: Press 0
To return to main menu: Press *
To end session: Simply hang up
Set up mailbox: Press 9
- Record personal greeting: Press 1
Recording: Press 4
Example: "You have reached Jane & Jill. We are not in right now, but please leave a message and we'll call you back as soon as possible."
Set up password: Press 2
Password must start with the number 1 and be no longer than 10 digits.
Cancel password: Press *
Note: In order to access voicemail from anywhere other than your student room, you will need to have a password set.
Set up name identification: Press 3
Record name for identification: Press 4
Change preferences: Press 8
More options: Press 9
Play introductory information Press 1
Set up sub-mailbox: Press 2 can be used to setup individual mailboxes
There is a 15 minute storage limit on each voice mailbox. If the storage limit is exceeded, no further voicemail messages will be accepted.
Password Resets: Password resets may be requested by calling the Student Technology Help Desk at 732-1000. All password resets will be performed between 2:00-3:00 pm daily and the password will be reset to 1234.
Telephone Features
Call Waiting:
Activate Press *6
Deactivate Press #6
Answer a call waiting: Press the switch hook or press the flash button when you hear a beep during a phone call.
Return to first call by pressing the switch hook or flash button.
Note: If you elect to not answer a call waiting then that call will automatically forward to voicemail. If call waiting is deactivated then calls will not be forwarded to voicemail.
Call Forwarding
Forward Calls - To forward calls to another number
1. Lift the handset and dial *1
2. Dial the number where call are to be forwarded.
3. Hang up.
Cancel Call Forwarding
Lift the handset and dial #1
3-Party Call
To make a 3-party call:
1. While talking on a call, press the switch hook. You will hear a dialtone.
2. Dial the number of the 2nd person you want to conference onto the call.
3. Wait until they answer and press the switch hook again to bring callers together.
