Donate Your Old Cell Phone

Since its inception in 2001, Edinboro University has donated cellular phones to a program sponsored by the Crawford County Sheriff's Department that provides cell phones to senior citizens.  This program collects unused cell phones and distributes to them to senior citizens for use in emergency situations.  The phones, which are programmed to make only 911 calls, are donated to senior citizens.

Edinboro University delivers the donated phones to the Crawford County Courthouse through a coordinated effort by Carla Behr, who handles cellular phone procurement and Don Apel, EUP in Meadville Director.

Cellular Phones may be dropped off at the Technology Help Center in Ross Hall.  Please note that phones must be in working condition and include a car and/or wall adapter for charging purposes.
