To Logon To Voicemail:
The Open Mailbox Feature Code is used to open your personal mailbox. Your personal mailbox is protected by a password that you establish.
To open your mailbox, press the mailbox key on your telephone or enter Feature 981.
To Logon To Voicemail While Away From The Office:
1. Dial the main number for your telephone system:
(Hamilton: 732-5555 or McComb: 732-2776)
2. To access your mailbox, press * * while the greeting plays.
3. Enter your mailbox number and password when prompted.
To Change Your Password:
1. Once logged in, Mailbox options:
2. Change your password: 4
3. Enter your new mailbox password
4. Press OK or # to end your password
5. Press YES or # to accept your new password.
6. To end this session, press RLS.
Record Greetings:
Each mailbox has a primary or alternate greeting recorded by the mailbox owner.
1. Once logged in, Mailbox options: 8
2. Select greeting options: 2
3. Press record or 1 to record your greeting
4. Select which greeting you are going to record: Primary or Alternate
5. Press YES or 1 to record your greeting.
6. At the tone, record your greeting.
7. Press OK or # to end your recording.
8. Press OK or # to accept your recording.
9. To end this session, press RLS.
Choose which greeting you are going to use. If you do not choose, the system will automatically play your primary greeting.
1. Once logged in, Mailbox options: 8
2. Select greeting options: 2
3. Choose: 2
4. Select which mailbox greeting your mailbox is going to play.
5. To end the session, press RLS.
Listening To Your Messages:
Open mailbox
Listen to your new messages: 2
Listen to your saved messages: 6
Replay the message: 11
Back up nine seconds: 1
Pause/Continue: 22
Forward nine seconds: 3
Skip to the end of the message: 33 or #
Play the previous message: 4
Skip to the next message: 6 or #
Save a message: 77
Erase a message: 8
Locate the erased message: 4
Forward the message: 5
Reply to the message: 9
Play time and date stamp: 7
Volume control: *
NOTE: Deleted messages remain in your mailbox until the session is ended. All messages you do not erase are automatically saved. Because message storage space is limited, we recommend you erase messages that are no longer needed.
Transfer Calls To a Mailbox:
1. While the call is active, press Feature 986
2. Then enter the mailbox number where you want to direct the call.
The caller is now transferred.
Leaving a Message In a Mailbox:
Feature 980
Interrupt Feature Code:
This is used to interrupt voicemail when a caller is listening to your mailbox greeting or leaving a message. This allows you to speak with a caller who has reached your mailbox. Feature 987
