    Meditation Group meeting, 10:00 - 10:30 a.m., Ghering Health and Wellness Center. Meetings are every Thursday. Membership is free and open to all students, faculty and staff. For more information or to RSVP your planned attendance, call 732-2743.

    Movie, "The Dark Knight," 5:00 p.m., Frank G. Pogue Student Center, Scot Cinema, sponsored by the University Programming Board. Admission is free for EUP students with valid ID, $1 for all others.

    EUP Rifle Team meeting, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., McComb Fieldhouse, basement. This team is comprised of dedicated men and women in the sport of precision competition shooting. Anyone can join whether or not you have prior shooting experience. Annual membership cost is $12.50. For more information, e-mail euprifleclub@yahoo.com.

    First Friday Concert Series:  Guitarist Erik Mann in Concert, 12:15 - 12:45 p.m., William P. Alexander Music Center, Recital Hall. Faculty member Erik Mann plays works for solo classical guitar by Johann kaspar Mertz.. First Friday Concerts take place  on the first Friday of every month that school is in session, and feature members of Edinboro University's music department. The concerts are free and open to the public.

    7th Annual Midnight Breakfast, 10:00 p.m. - midnight, Van Houten Main Dining Hall, sponsored by the Edinboro University Alumni Association and the Student Affairs and Student Success Division. This complimentary breakfast is a kick-off to finals week. Dine and "de-stress" in your best plaid pajamas, robes, and slippers! This is a wonderful opportunity to relax and have fun before hitting the books. Prizes awarded beginning at 11:00 p.m. Breakfast is free and open to all students with a valid ID. The Edinboro University Alumni Association & Student Affairs and Student Success wish you the best of luck on your finals!

    Book Discussion Group meeting, Baron-Forness Library, room 715, 6:45 - 8:15 p.m. Dr. Catherine Whitley of the English and Theatre Arts Department will lead the discussion. The book that will be discussed is "Water for Elephants," by Sara Gruen. Copies of the book selected for this month's meeting are placed on reserve in the library. Students, staff and the public are all invited to attend.
